Toddler rear-facing car seat safety

According to The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), car crashes are the leading cause of death for children ages 1 to 13. Making sure that we're using child safety seats correctly is one of the best ways to make sure we're keeping our kids as safe as possible while we're on the road. Watch as Jo Anderson, BSN, RNC-NIC, CPST-I, child passenger safety technician, Newborn ICU, Parkview, shows us how to properly install a rear-facing car seat for a toddler.

Always refer to your car seat manufacturer's instructions (including height and weight limits) and your vehicle's owner manual for further instruction.
